When you create a watchlist for recall alerts, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your search criteria (agencies, categories, brands, keywords)
• Your notification frequency preference (instant, daily, weekly)

That's all. We do not collect your name, phone number, address, payment information, or any other personal details.

Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information:

• IP address (anonymized in analytics)
• Browser type and version
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Pages visited and time spent on site
• Referring website (if you clicked a link to reach us)

This information is collected via standard web server logs and analytics tools.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do NOT collect:

• Search history across different sessions (unless you're logged into an alert)
• Your precise geolocation
• Biometric data
• Social security numbers, government IDs, or financial information
• Medical or health information

2. How We Use Your Information

Email Addresses (Watchlists)

We use your email address solely to:

• Send you recall alerts matching your criteria
• Send a verification email when you create a watchlist
• Allow you to manage or delete your watchlists

We never send marketing emails, spam, or sell your email address to third parties.

Analytics Data

We use anonymized analytics to:

• Understand which features are most useful
• Identify technical issues or broken pages
• Measure overall site traffic and growth
• Improve the user experience

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized—we cannot identify individual users from this data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Recall Radar:

Vercel (Hosting)

AWS (Backend Services)

Stores recall data and sends email alerts via Amazon SES. View AWS Privacy Policy

Analytics (TBD)

We may use privacy-focused analytics tools like Plausible or Simple Analytics, which do not use cookies or track individuals.

These services have access only to the data necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Recall Radar, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Watchlist Data

We retain your watchlist and email address until you delete it. You can delete your watchlists at any time by:

• Clicking "Unsubscribe" in any alert email
• Using the watchlist management page (enter your email to view and delete)
• Emailing us at support@valkyrjainteractive.com

Once deleted, your email and preferences are permanently removed from our database within 30 days.

Analytics Data

Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 24 months to track trends over time. This data cannot be linked back to individual users.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Recall Radar uses minimal cookies and tracking:

Essential Cookies

Required for basic site functionality (e.g., remembering your theme preference). These cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies

Used to measure site usage. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track individuals across sites.

We do NOT use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or social media trackers.

7. Children's Privacy

Recall Radar is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for email addresses and watchlist data
• Regular security updates and monitoring
• Access controls limiting who can view data

However, no system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to support@valkyrjainteractive.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• We'll notify existing watchlist subscribers via email if changes are significant
• The updated policy will be posted on this page

Continued use of Recall Radar after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
